Morse code is a method used in telecommunication to encode text characters as standardized sequences of two different signal durations, called dots and dashes, or dits and dahs. Morse code is named after Samuel Morse, one of the inventors of the telegraph. (1)

Now you can use morse alphabet in your JavaScript codes and projects with this package. It is simple to use and useful for authentication & hashing.

First install package with "npm i morse-convert". Then define the package with "const morse = require('morse-convert')".

For encoding: morse.valueToMorse("Your Text", Output(Array/String), Hashed(true/false))

For decoding: morse.morseToValue("Your Text", Output(Array/String), Hashed(true/false))

// const morse = require('morse-convert')

// morse.valueToMorse("test message", String, false)

Output: - . ... -   -- . ... ... .- --. .

// morse.morseToValue("- . ... -   -- . ... ... .- --. .", String, false)

And you can hash values with this method,

// morse.valueToMorse("test message", String, true)

How to use Morse Alphabet Converter in JavaScript

I haven't posted anything for about 1.5 years, I can say this is because I'm completely lazy or I'm not a good writer.

When I graduated from high school, I couldn't get into the department I wanted in the first year, or I didn't know exactly what I wanted. Actually, my only goal was to develop games, make new friends at university and increase my connections. I thought that computer engineering would be enough for this, but I couldn't settle because my score wasn't enough - I'm glad I couldn't settle - so I postponed my dream for another year. In this process, I knew that some universities already had a "Digital Game Design" department, but I didn't fully investigate it and I thought, why do I want engineering if I want to make games?

Finally, I made my decision and I was accepted to the digital game design department at Istanbul Aydın University after one year. I can't tell anything exactly because the universities have just opened, but I learned that the university has really good opportunities, I will try my luck by gathering my friends and applying to the "Incubation Center" with my project. So far, I have made a lot of new friends with whom I can exchange information. 

In the following process, I plan to write the devlogs of the game project we will make in the blog section. I will draw a road map and I will move forward with my friends on this map, if I succeed on this path, I will have realized my dreams that I have been dreaming for a very long time. I hope luck will be on my side in this process. I will inform you about my setbacks and progress through this blog with my friends.

What Am I Doing Now?

I participated in this year's global game jam with my team at Istanbul Aydın University with the sponsorship of the school clubs.

At the event, my friends and I organized teamwork for the first time and this contributed a lot to us. During the overall process of the jam, I worked on the project but I didn't stop socializing and having fun. The process went very fast for us and we couldn't publish our game exactly as we wanted. Maybe if we had better preparation or if we had 24 hours more, we could have finished our project.

This jam guided me to build my dream team. I would like to thank my teammates here and thank you for reading.
